Gundam SEED Destiny

Destiny Phase 50: The Future Will be Better Tomorrow

We finally made it. The final episode of Gundam SEED Desitny. We made it through Gundam jackings, speeches about identity, Mobile Suit pilots with frustrating mental acuity, Crygali and Savioring. We made it through disintegrated people coming back to life, Djibril and the Destiny plan. What awaits us in the final episode? You'll have to listen and see.

Destiny Phase 49: Math With Laser Beams

We're almost there. The penultimate episode of Gundam SEED Destiny. It's all come to this. Who will do the most nonsensical philosophizing? Who will pick the most nonsensical character motivation out of the hat? Who will be kicked to the moon? And who will set up a pun without even realizing what they're doing? You'll have to listen to find out, and once you do, might as well stick around for next week too.

Phase 48: Punch The Ghost Out of Shinn

It's almost the end of Gundam SEED Destiny! Who's character motivations make sense? Who just kinda seems trapped by the script, marching inevitably into villainhood? Who will live? Who will randomly get their memories back? And who will it turn out has not one, but two Deathstars? To find out, you either have to listen, or watch an episode of a 16 year old anime!

Phase 46: Clipshow Hell Part III WOW!

WOW! It's Gundam SEED Destiny! A clipshow even. WOW! Remember how this show used to have druggies? Wow, been a while since I thought about them! We get to hear everything that's already happened from Meer Campbell's perspective! You know that's going to be important going forward, because she died last week! Err, spoilers. Wow!

Phase 44: Coordinator Death Cake

This week, Djibril is doing the cooking by the book, as he tries to kill all the coordinators. Is Meer on the moon? Why is Meer on the moon? How many giant lasers did Djibril build? Why are Durundal and Djibril connected by the force? And what does Cagalli mean when she tells a 15 year old girl that she's entrusting her boyfriend to her? All these questions are asked this episode, and we may have even managed to answer one!

Phase 43: I'm So Sorry Meer

There are two Lacuses (Lacopiti) this week, and some how we don't make one joke about Slim Shady! Nor does Geremy make any of the many sex jokes he thought about while editing the episode that he couldn't think of during the episode. What jokes does he make instead? You'll have to listen to find out! Also, a little birdy told me maybe Djibril will have a huge laser, so it might be worth it to listen for that, and a front runner for one of the most disappointing moments in the series too! You don't want to miss that!

Phase 41: Not Your Daddy's Doms

This week on the podcast, everything's showing up from space, and Geremy makes a surprising amount of jokes about music! Plus, the final new Mobile Suits for the series are introduced: the Lemniscate Justice and the Dom. But not just any old busted Dom. It's the new, sexy Dom Trooper. Listen to find all about it and its trio of pilots!

Phase 40: Lieutenant Long Cry

It turns out that Ghost Dad has been guarding a golden ghost Gundam this entire season! He will bequeath it to Cagalli, but only if she succeeds at his quest. His quest which involves listening to his final words. His final words that make everyone cry. Well, except Erica Simmons. Which of the hosts will cry at these last words? You'll have to listen to find out.

Phase 39: Tinker Tailor Soldier DaCosta

DaCosta is back! But he messed up because he's an idiot, oh no! To defend her secret StarCraft factory from DaCosta's incompetence, Lacus Clyne has to launch The Eternal without any Mobile Suit pilots and try to escape from some Nazca class ships. Sure is a shame she has a newer, cooler, Freedomier nuclear Gundam on board with no one to pilot it. If only Athrun and Mu La.... I'm sorry, Captain Neo Roanoke could convince Kira to go help her. His girlfriend. Seems like something he wouldn't do on his own. You'll have to listen and see.

Phase 38: Gee Rey, What Are We Going To Do Tonight?

Try to take over the world! Or at least Heaven's Base. Lacus Clyne says if that falls, Orb will be next, but before that, Darth Shinn, his mentor Rey, and the girl he's feeling really awkward about will have to take over Heaven's Base. And they have not one, not two, but five Destroy Gundams! Do they combine into some sort of Destroy Megazord? You'll have to listen to find out.

Phase 37: Thanks For Reading My Fan Fiction Gil

Meyrin and Rey are writing more fan fiction this week in Gundam SEED Destiny, and it's all about Athrun! Speaking of Athrun, he's betrayed everyone, and Gil and Rey have to convince Shinn to kill not only him, but also Meyrin. That's certainly good for a growing boy's psyche right?

Phase 36: Meyrin Fantasy 16

After Chairman Durundal tries to gaslight Athrun into thinking Meer is the real Lacus and Kira broke up with her, he has no choice but to do some sweet James Bond stuff. Which Bond girl will he get to flee with him? And why does Geremy constantly doubt himself when he guesses the artists to songs even though he gets all of them right this episode? Listen and find out.

Phase 35: Buy None of Their Playsets or Toys

Shinn went and did a murder on Athrun's best friend, and now Athrun is upset about it! Will this be enough for him to regain his main character status? Or will Rey be able to gaslight him into thinking Kira dying is a good thing? And will Shin do an introspection? Or will he have to be punched in the face instead? And who will get the two new shiny Gundams with the words "For Main Characters Only" inscribed on their head? And which one of them has the devil number for its model number? For provoking so many questions, this sure is a boring episode, but listen anyway!

Phase 34: Excessive Explosions

This week, the show reveals that only a main character can defeat a main character, as the very subtly named "Operation Angel Down" pits Shinn against Kira. Shinn's been wanting to shoot down the Freedom for 2s of episodes now. Will he succeed? The answer will make Geremy sad.

Phase 33: Why Can’t We be Friends? The Secret is Actually the Illuminati

This week, Durundal gives a long, impassioned speech, and doxes the Illuminati in response to them blowing up all of Europe. But according to Kira and Cagali this is.... bad? For some reason? Zach has a theory, and you'll have to listen if you want to hear it.
